Neutramec SC is a concentrated micro-emulsion degreaser suitable for hard surface cleaning, metal washing and use in ultrasonic baths. It has a neutral pH, is not corrosive to metals, it is environmentally friendly and easy to dilute for whatever use you require down to 2.5%. It is excellent at cleaning parts and machinery for precision engineering and solvent and UV inks without the need for high alkaline solutions, and at a lower temperature.
We are able to supply Neutramec SC in 1ltr, 5ltr and 20ltr containers to UK customers via our website (prices include shipping). We can also supply to anywhere in the world and in 20ltr, 208ltr drums and 1000kg IBCs. Please contact email@example.com to enquire.
- Our most powerful micro-emulsion cleaner
- Friendly to the environment
- Non toxic
- Easy to dilute for whatever use you require
- Not corrosive to metals, including aluminium
- Neutral pH
- Can be used in hard or soft water
- Most effective around 40°C – reducing the need for timely and expensive water heating
Method of use
Typically the working solution is 2.5% but this varies depending on application. When diluted the formulation creates a micro-emulsion which is effective at cleaning organic compounds without damaging inorganic compounds such as metal or stone. It is most effective at 40°C but works well between 15°C and 40°C. Do not use above 55°C or the micro-emulsion will begin to break down and deposit on the surface of what is being cleaned. It works well in hard or soft water.
Tests for suitability before use are advisable.
Neutramec is a concentrated blend of environmentally friendly oxygenated solvents and non-ionic surfactants. When mixed with water it forms a microemulsion capable of solubilising oily, hydrophobic substances in a biphase composition making it highly effective at cleaning surfaces. This removes the need for chlorinated solvents, hydrocarbon solvents and high pH caustic solutions. The product has been formulated to decontaminate hard surfaces, particularly metal parts and machinery in precision engineering environments where metal protection is important. Typical dilution is 2.5% with a range of 1-5%.
It can also be used to clean solvent and UV based inks for the printing industry. Typical dilution is 5-10%.
It is also effective at a lower temperature than rival products, which means cheaper energy bills and time saved in waiting for water to heat up.
